Saxophone Quartet (SATB)
In addition to the Crysanthemi (Advance Music Order No. 07417), G. Puccini also wrote the Tre Minuetti on hand for the same instrumentation during his first creative period (around 1890).
In these bright and cheerful pieces he musically refers to baroque (dance) music. At the beginning of the 20th century, these compositions were widely performed; this version for saxophone quartet by Christoph Enzel virtually invites their rediscovery.
