3-4 B flat clarinets. This work is basically composed as a trio. The fourth part is optional and is not technically challenging. It will give a beginner a chance to play along with the more experienced players. The variations are based on "Down By the Riverside", "Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen", "When the Saints" and other well-known more...spirituals. Medium easy; optional 4th part - very easy
