Routine in practice has always been vital to the development and maintenance of the physical skill required to play trumpet. While the physical skills remain the same, the pedagogical concepts should be continually reviewed in order to refine those studies that are necessary in the practice routine. The purpose of this book is to restate my pedagogical concepts after more than thirty years of teaching and to offer a revision of exercise necessary to the development and maintenance of embouchure, tone and the breathing process, finger execution and tonguing.
