This version of Godchild is the stock arrangement issued in 1949 that was based on the arrangement that was written for Chubby Jackson's big band. This is a great swing tune featuring solos for alto sax, trumpet, trombone, and piano. The sound sample is courtesy of Terry Gibbs, who performed this exact arrangement in May of 2010 during a tribute concert to Tiny Kahn.
